About the role

Nous sommes à la recherche d'un(e) expert.e en sinistre, responsabilité civile (Conseiller, Petites créances – TAL et arbitrage) pour notre équipe grandissante!


Cette personne prendra en charge des dossiers portés devant la Cour des petites créances et le Tribunal administratif du logement et en arbitrage.  Elle aura la responsabilité de réviser les positions de responsabilité prises au dossier, à évaluer l’opportunité de considérer un mode alternatif de règlement, et supporter, à titre d’expert en sinistre, l’assuré dans les diverses étapes d’un dossier litige.


Vous serez également appelés à partager vos connaissances en faisant du mentorat, en donnant des formations ou en participant à divers comités. 


Lieu de travail : Laval (600 rue Lucien-Paiement), Montréal (2020 boul. Robert-Bourrassa) ou St-Hyacinthe (2450 Rue Girouard O) en mode hybride.


Ce que vous ferez :

  • Réviser des dossiers portés devant la Cour des petites créances et le Tribunal administratif du logement et arbitrage, analyser la position prise et évaluer la stratégie à adopter, incluant le mode alternatif de règlement.

  • Analyser et être responsable de dossiers d'arbitrage.

  • Renseigner l’assuré quant aux développements du dossier.

  • À titre d’expert en sinistre, participer à des séances de négociation ou à des médiations.

  • À titre d’expert en sinistre, accompagner l’assuré lors des auditions à la Cour des petites créances et/ou devant le Tribunal administratif du logement et arbitrage.

  • Structurer des prises de position de manière claire, précise et conforme aux règles applicables.

  • Prendre en charge rapidement le client et assurer le suivi du dossier.

  • Communiquer de façon professionnelle et adéquate.

  • Bien expliquer et vulgariser les éléments au dossier pour l’assuré et le courtier.

  • Simplifier les choses et trouver des solutions.

  • Offrir le support technique aux experts en sinistre et aux directeurs d’unité de plusieurs lignes d’affaires.

  • Partager et transférer vos connaissances, contribuer au développement de collègues.

  • Demeurer à l’affut de la jurisprudence.

  • Collaborer activement et professionnellement avec les divers services de l’entreprise.

  • Participer à l'amélioration des processus opérationnels.

  • Favoriser le travail d’équipe.

  • Participer aux catastrophes.


Compétences requises :

  • Détenir un certificat d’expert en sinistre 5A.

  • Baccalauréat en droit ou diplôme d'étude collégiale en techniques juridiques (un atout).

  • Bilinguisme (français / anglais) – Nécessité d’interagir sur une base régulière avec des collègues partout au pays.

  • Détenir un permis de conduire valide.
