We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Executive Recruiter to lead and manage the end-to-end search process for senior-level and executive talent. This individual will partner closely with business leaders, HR partners, and the executive team to identify, engage, and hire top-tier talent critical to Motive’s growth and success. In particular, this individual can ensure we are consistently making contact with the market for top sales and engineering talent.
What You'll Do:- Own the full-cycle recruitment process for VP-level and C-suite roles, including research, sourcing, candidate assessment, and offer negotiation.
- Build and maintain exceptional relationships with executive leadership to understand hiring needs and organizational goals. Including succession planning as they will maintain contact with the market for key roles to ensure Motive has the ability to move quickly should circumstances arise.
- Develop creative and modern strategies to identify and attract passive talent through direct sourcing, industry research, and networking.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing insights on market trends, talent availability, and competitive intelligence.
- Ensure a high-touch, white-glove experience for candidates throughout the process.
- Manage relationships with exceptional talent in key areas of the business, particularly sales and engineering.
- Manage relationships with retained search firms and external partners as needed.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of recruiting
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
- 15+ years of experience in executive or senior-level recruiting, either in-house or at a retained search firm.
- Proven success hiring for VP and C-level roles across a variety of functions (e.g., Engineering, Product, Sales, Finance, Operations).
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
- Deep understanding of executive compensation, market mapping, and candidate assessment.
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Proficiency with ATS platforms and sourcing tools while beginning to embrace AI
Your compensation may be based on several factors, including education, work experience, and certifications. For certain roles, total compensation may include restricted stock units. The compensation range for this position will depend on where you reside. Motive uses three geographic zones to determine pay range. For this role, the compensation ranges are:
