As a physical security advisor, you help strengthen the organization's security posture by planning, rolling out and overseeing best practices for executive protection. You play a key role in protecting Desjardins Group’s senior management. You actively help develop the Desjardins Group Security Office's strategic directions, while ensuring their alignment with organizational objectives. You’re involved with complex and sensitive mandates, where your judgement, discretion and expertise in physical security are essential. You interact with key players at various levels of the organization. Your interpersonal skills, diplomacy and excellent judgment are needed to effectively navigate sensitive situations. More specifically, you will be required to:
Ensure the physical protection of senior management during trips, activities and events.
Plan security measures and coordinate with key players to harmonize protection agendas
Analyze risks related to senior management’s activities and draft appropriate security scenarios
Produce executive analysis reports including strategic and operational recommendations.
Diagnose physical security issues, risks and needs and propose concrete solutions.
Advise the business sectors on personal security issues.
Collaborate on awareness and training initiatives for external partners
Help improve executive protection practices through monitoring and continuous improvement.

What you bring to the table
College diploma in a related field
A minimum of four years of relevant experience
Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
Significant experience in physical security, including executive protection
Experience drafting executive reports, strategic analyses and security scenarios
Knowledge of French is required
Intermediate advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
Proficiency in written and verbal communication in situations requiring diplomacy and discretion
Knowledge of sound risk management and security planning practices
