About this role
The Executive Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to a GIP founding partner.
Role Description:
- The person would handle primarily professional GIP activities (this person would gatekeep the partner's primary calendar, so would be expected to work with his personal EA to coordinate effectively on where he needs to be when for any family office needs.)
- Needs to be available / attentive as things come up. There will be heavy international travel coordination as the partner travels frequently, and this person will need to be available during those hours to help triage needs.
- This role deals with investors and high profile individuals so a polished presence and capability to build relationships is important.
- Someone who can be a partner to the founding partner (skilled project / relationship manager) – This role has an opportunity to grow into a chief of staff role overtime – someone who can/ has desire to do PowerPoints and make a commitment to a long term partnership would be ideal
- There is no travel required
Requirements:
- 10+ years experience in a fast paced, high energy corporate office or family office environment, supporting a senior individual
- Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Office to include Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Extensive experience handling private domestic and international travel, meeting planning, scheduling and logistics operates exceptionally well under pressure
- Shows utmost judgement, discretion and understanding of confidentiality
- Can effortlessly keep multiple priorities in flight independently
- Can adapt and work well with a range of workstyles and personality types including high energy and demanding profiles
- Strong verbal and written communication skills – succinct, edited and clear
- Creative problem solver and ability to influence/facilitate results
- High degree of ownership and accountability ; maintains a positive attitude– eye for detail and accuracy
- Collaborative approach – skilled at building relationships and an ability to work across a variety of workstyles, roles and levels
- Ability to take feedback well and willing to learn
- Can be flexible/attentive to emails after normal business hours and on the weekends.
