We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior SEO Manager to join our team at Socius Marketing. In this role, you will oversee and execute franchise SEO strategies, ensuring that national brands and their franchise locations achieve maximum visibility in local search results. You will be at the forefront of integrating AI-driven tools like GPT-4 into our SEO strategies while balancing technical SEO, local SEO, content strategy, and digital PR for multi-location businesses. 

This role is ideal for an SEO expert with franchise experience, a passion for scaling SEO strategies across multiple locations, and strong leadership skills. You will manage a small team of Senior SEOs, oversee franchise SEO packages, conduct competitive audits, and consult with both franchisors and franchisees to optimize their digital presence. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct technical SEO audits and oversee multi-location site architecture and migrations. 

  • Develop and drive franchise content strategy, ensuring consistency across national and local pages. 

  • Consult with franchisors and franchisees to scope SEO opportunities and tailor strategies to different locations. 

  • Lead high level presentations and reports for stakeholders at the National and Corporate audience tied to franchise and marketing operations. 

  • Confidently lead strategic initiatives for franchise businesses, balancing national and hyper-local SEO strategies. 

  • Integrate AI-driven SEO solutions (e.g., GPT-4) to optimize and scale content strategies. 

  • Manage and mentor a small team of SEO professionals, identifying and addressing skill gaps in both the franchise and SMB client segments. 

  • Provide expertise in local SEO strategies, including GBP optimization, local citations, and review management. 

  • Oversee link-building and digital PR strategies to enhance authority for both the brand and its franchisees. 

  • Utilize analytics and data to create comprehensive SEO reports and multi-location performance tracking. 

  • Support CRO testing, UX improvements, and website launches to enhance SEO performance (bonus). 

 

Skills & Experience: 

  • Proven experience (6-10 years) in SEO, including multi-location SEO, local content strategies, and reporting. 

  • Expertise in technical SEO, local SEO, and scaling SEO for franchises. 

  • Strong leadership skills with 2+ years of experience managing direct reports. 

  • Experience in training team members, thought leadership, and client consulting. 

  • Knowledge of digital PR, link-building strategies, and local citation management. 

  • Experience conducting content audits with actionable plans for improving franchise visibility. 

  • Proficiency in analytics and SEO performance tracking, with a multi-location reporting approach. 

  • Experience leading SEO strategies for franchise businesses, reporting to CMOs, marketing directors, and franchise development teams. 

  • Ability to navigate website migrations and ensure seamless transitions without loss of rankings. 

  • Bonus: National-to-local franchise SEO strategies. 

 

 

Where: REMOTE US
The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America.

Compensation: The target base compensation for this position is $90,000 to $100,000 USD per year in most US locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
