Role Overview:

Trellix is looking for an Enterprise Account Executive. You will lead and drive a comprehensive approach to account and territory management in Eastern Canada. You will be responsible for MEDDPICC sales forecasting, managing our sales methodology and pipeline generation. As the key opportunity owner, you will work with your team to drive new business and renewal strategies to maximize revenue. The territory will consist of large enterprise and commercial accounts.

About the Role:

  • Objectives include sales for existing clients and expansion (new logo).

  • You will be required to indirectly lead and manage an internal team including inside sale, renewals, customer success and pre sales engineering as well as other team influencers.

  • Identifies potential customers, initiating a sales relationship, preparing and presenting a solution, and finalizing the sales process.

  • Leverage internal technical resources as needed to meet customer solution requirements.

  • Analyzes the customer environment to understand customer needs and collaborates with technical resources to provide expertise as needed to meet customer requirements.

  • Works closely with customers to drive POC's and/or various GTM activities.

  • Upsells/cross sell products and solutions based on customer need.

  • Generates demand with resellers and end-user customers and growing mind-share, product awareness, and business relationships.

  • Develops relationships internally with C-Level and various stakeholders.

About You:

  • You have a successful background in selling security-focused software and cloud solutions to large enterprise organizations. 

  • You have experience being a trusted advisor to an executive level audience providing complex security-based solutions.

  • You have proven customer-centric selling experience with the aim to increase revenues, build lasting value and provide our customers with long-term solutions.

  • Direct selling experience that will produce new account relationships, increase opportunities in your existing accounts and drive quota completion.

  • You have existing relationships, established contacts; and the intimate knowledge of our customers current challenges and needs. 

  • A deep knowledge of networking topologies and other technologies our customers are using.

  • Success working in a multi-tiered, multi-divisional sales organization.

  • You have experience closing seven figure deals and a history of exceeding sales quotas.

  • Communication and Influence – You will adjust your communication style to fit the appropriate audience.  You have the ability to make complex issues easy to understand.

  • Customer Experience – you will assume responsibility for solving customer problems and ensure commitments to customers are met.

  • You have 10+ years combined experience of the above in a high technology and/or information security environment. 

This position is paid (in part) on a commission basis. The Base Pay Range is $160,000 – $200,000 CAD. The On Target Earnings (OTE) Range (base pay plus on target commission) is $350,000 – $390,000 CAD. Actual base pay within the Base Pay Range and actual OTE within the OTE Range will depend on varying circumstances, including the work location, individual qualifications, company budget and other operational business needs. Compensation may also include long-term incentives, subject to various metrics and company policy.
