About the organization
Cloudflare is redefining the way networks are run at scale. Our Network Services product suite puts the connectivity, scale, and performance of Cloudflare's global network in front of customers' network infrastructure and private networks, providing a single pane of glass for network connectivity, visibility, and operating network functions like DoS mitigation, Next-Gen Firewall, IDS/IPS, WAN optimization, public cloud integration, and more. We are a team of engineers and product managers who obsess over quickly building products that solve real customer problems using innovative technologies and techniques which leverage Cloudflare's unique architecture and global network footprint.
About the Team
The Magic Cloud Networking team develops an orchestration framework that enables customers to securely connect public cloud resources (AWS, Azure, GCP) to Cloudflare's global data-center network. The team tackles unique challenges such as how to work with diverse cloud networking models in a generic way, how to deal with out-of-band customer modifications, and how to recover from cloud resource failures. Our platform must be resilient, scalable, and flexible to meet these demands and is powered by Go-based microservices deployed across Cloudflare's infrastructure.
