Job Summary
  • Fast-paced environment: We're growing quickly and need a Operations Engineer who can keep up!

  • Customer-facing role: You'll be the face of Optiva, working directly with customers to resolve issues.

  • 24/7 availability: This role requires working shifts to provide round-the-clock support.

  • Technical Expertise: (Advantage & Preferrence)understanding of Linux/Unix administration, networking, and TCP/IP. Experience with GCP, cloud systems, and telecommunications protocols is a major plus.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: You'll be troubleshooting and resolving technical faults, so strong problem-solving abilities are essential.

  • Communication Skills: You'll need excellent written and verbal communication skills in English to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.

  • Responsibilities:

    • Monitoring and managing Optiva infrastructure and applications.

    • Performing health checks and troubleshooting issues.

    • Providing technical support, including software releases, upgrades, and node expansions.

    • Participating in emergency support activities.

    • Ensuring high availability and zero downtime.

    • Collaborating with other teams for advanced troubleshooting.

    • Handling day-to-day operations on a shift basis.

    • Maintaining nodes to prevent hardware issues.

    • Scripting (Shell/Perl) knowledge is a plus.

  • Eligibility:

    • Engineering from E&TC or Computer science or BCA / MCA. (Fresher or upto 1 year of experience in Telecom domain )

    • Familiarity with GPRS, GSM, and charging systems is a plus.

    • Strong knowledge of Linux, Unix, application servers, and networking protocols. (Certifications of Linux, Cloud will be preferred)

    • Fluent English (written and spoken).

    • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

    • Computer Science or Engineering degree.

    • Ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends
