About Flexspring
At Flexspring, we make HR systems work better - together.
Founded in 2013, Flexspring is a trusted expert in HR data integration. We partner with HR teams and HR software companies to design and deliver custom integrations that connect systems, reduce manual work, and help people's operations run smoothly and reliably.
Our work sits at the intersection of HR and technology. We solve complex integration challenges that directly impact how organizations hire, pay, manage, and support their people. By making HR data easier to move, more accurate, and less costly to manage, we help our clients focus on what matters most.
Flexspring is a fully remote company built on trust, ownership, and strong collaboration. Team members are encouraged to take initiative, collaborate closely with experienced colleagues, and continuously grow their skills while working on solutions that have real, visible impact. Our philosophy is simple: Everything Connects.
About the Role
As a Project Manager at Flexspring, you’ll lead client-facing integration projects from initiation through delivery. You’ll partner closely with clients, internal delivery teams, and technical stakeholders to plan, coordinate, and execute projects that connect HR, Payroll, and financial systems - helping organizations reduce manual work and rely on accurate workforce data.
This role is a great fit for someone who brings structure to complexity, communicates clearly, and proactively manages risks and dependencies. Experience with HRIS, Payroll, or General Ledger (GL/ERP) environments will help you ramp quickly and confidently support stakeholders across HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT.
What you’ll bring
- 3+ years of project management experience delivering technology projects in a client-facing environment (SaaS, implementations, integrations, or similar).
- Fluency in French and English (written and verbal).
- Experience working with HRIS and/or Payroll systems, or leading projects where employee/payroll data is a core input/output.
- Ability to lead the full project lifecycle: kickoff → discovery → delivery → go-live → stabilization.
- Strong requirements facilitation skills: running workshops, capturing decisions, and translating needs into clear project deliverables and documentation.
- Solid fundamentals in scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and change control across multiple concurrent projects.
- High ownership and follow-through in a fully remote environment.
Nice to Haves
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
- Experience delivering system-to-system integrations (APIs, SFTP, ETL/data transformations, middleware/iPaaS).
- Familiarity with HR and Payroll platforms such as Workday, Oracle HCM, ADP, UKG, Ceridian Dayforce, BambooHR, or similar.
- Strong understanding of payroll timing, data quality impacts, and downstream reporting needs (including cost centers and GL mapping).
- Experience supporting multi-entity or multi-country environments.
- Additional languages (Spanish, Arabic, others).
What You’ll Do
- Lead client-facing HRIS and Payroll integration projects from kickoff through go-live and stabilization.
- Facilitate discovery sessions with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT stakeholders to define scope, requirements, timelines, and success criteria.
- Translate business and operational requirements into structured documentation, including data mapping and integration flow diagrams.
- Coordinate internal technical consultants and external stakeholders to ensure alignment, accountability, and execution.
- Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and scope changes — particularly where payroll timing, compliance, or downstream financial reporting may be impacted.
- Monitor project health, communicate progress clearly, and drive decision-making when trade-offs are required.
- Support post-launch validation and ensure integrations are operating as expected in real-world environments.
- Identify expansion or optimization opportunities and prepare change requests where appropriate.
