We are seeking a Software Development Intern to join our Embedded Software team to advance our System Engineering solutions, with a focus on warehouse automation technologies. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver innovative station systems, including Bring-to-Light Shelving and Scan-and-Print systems.
Responsibilities
Participate in the development, testing, and maintenance of embedded software solutions using C#.
Collaborate to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Write clean, efficient, and scalable code, along with comprehensive tests to ensure reliability and performance.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Contribute to troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing the system.
Support the deployment of software updates and maintain system performance.
The role involves daily (or regular) communication with pan-Canadian stakeholders.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
Proficient in C#.
Experience working with Embedded Linux platforms.
Logical, analytical, and creative approach to problem-solving
Strong collaboration and communication skills
