Role Description
As part of the Lifecycle Marketing team, the Email Marketing Automation Manager will be responsible for executing and optimizing email and nurture campaigns in Marketo. This role focuses on campaign builds, QA, audience targeting, data flow, and performance tracking, with an emphasis on operational excellence and scalability.

Responsibilities- Campaign Strategy & Design: Partner with Lifecycle Marketing to advise on campaign structure and translate strategy into scalable, automated email programs that drive engagement and conversion.
- Marketing Automation Execution: Build, test, and launch email and nurture campaigns in Marketo and Salesforce, ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality execution.
- Template Development: Create and maintain reusable Marketo program templates to improve efficiency, consistency, and speed to launch.
- Campaign QA & Troubleshooting: Own QA processes and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure flawless campaign delivery and operational excellence.
- Compliance & Best Practices: Uphold data privacy standards (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CASL) and champion email marketing and automation best practices.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders across marketing, sales, and analytics to align on campaign goals, targeting, and performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in Marketo, including building campaigns, managing workflows, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of email marketing, lead nurturing, segmentation, and lifecycle marketing strategies.
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and integrating them with marketing automation tools.
- Proven ability to build scalable, efficient workflows and troubleshoot campaign or data flow issues.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable improvements.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid knowledge of email compliance regulations (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CASL) and best practices.
- Marketo certification (Marketo Certified Expert or Marketo Certified Practitioner)
