The Electrical/PLC Programmer will troubleshoot and repair PLC and robotics systems, ensure compliance with safety standards, and maintain electrical systems in automotive applications.

Job Responsibilities:
Position Responsibilities• Troubleshoot PLC, Robotics and electrical installations and wiring according to CSA, OESC and company electrical and safety standards• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical and electromechanical equipment, using a variety of electrical test equipment, meters, powered and non-powered tools and equipment.• Has knowledge to program (Omron and AB) PLC's and (Fanuc) robot programming.• Ensure process capability for all new programs
Skills & Experience Required
Education Requirements: College or University graduate, preferably in Electrical Engineering
Minimum Experience: 3 year related experience in the automotive industry and one year PLC experience.
Courses Required: Sound knowledge of SPC and quality concepts; Familiarity with FMEA, APQP, DOE,
Licenses/Permits Required: Must be 422A electrically licensed or working toward it.
Physical Requirements: Must be physically fit with excellent dexterity, must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
