We’re seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to help design, build, and test hardware and embedded systems. This is a hands-on opportunity to apply your skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your work directly supports delivery excellence across the Intelcom network.
Responsibilities
Develop project plans, business cases, and specifications.
Design, prototype, assemble, and test system solutions.
Produce supporting and explanatory documentation to facilitate installation and use.
Opportunity to visit sorting facilities to learn operational processes or participate in the integration and development of technologies.
Perform any other tasks related to the day-to-day operation of the Lab.
The role involves daily (or regular) communication with pan-Canadian stakeholders.
Qualifications
Knowledge of electrical and electronic testing.
Experience in assembly (soldering, inspection, harness manufacturing, etc.) is an asset.
Experience using ECAD software (Altium Designer or similar) is an asset.
Broad systems knowledge with a foundation in embedded programming and mechanics.
Ability to document clearly and concisely.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Creativity, resourcefulness, and strong hands-on skills.
