The EDMS Application Development Engineer supports deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of EDMS applications, enhancing efficiency and performance through process improvements.
ESI is seeking an EDMS Application Development Engineer that will assist in the deployment, initial configuration, and support of EDMS (Electronic Document Management System) applications during the design, development, testing and training, operational readiness and disaster recovery phases of an MMS delivery project.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assists in the initial server deployment, integration configuration and support of EDMS tools: Cincom Eloquence, Process Manager workflow, IBM FileNet P8, Rocket Cypress.
- Design, develop, and implement changes in configuration and custom programming for Cypress.
- Assists in the regular deployment and validation of updated configuration from one environment to the next.
- Troubleshoots issues with any of the mentioned tools and/or integration between them.
- Identifies and applies process improvement steps to facilitate deployments and testing of these tools, improve efficiency and performance, and create automated notifications when servers/systems need review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bachelor's degree in application development and/or server/hardware configuration.
- Three or more years of application development experience.
- Experience working with the server configuration.
- Experience working with document image storage and retrieval systems.
- Experience working with computer programming concepts and at least one programming language.
- Experience preferred in: MSMQ, PowerShell, C#, SQL blob image storage, SQL, XAML, XML, SOAP, REST, IIS, Apache Tomcat, API web calls, Base64 encoding experience, SSH, various transport encryption, HTTP, HTTPS, SAMBA, Ansible.
- Interpersonal skills to interact with business analysts and team members.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Personal computer and business solutions software skills (Microsoft Word, Excel required, SQL highly preferred).
- Ability to work with multiple teams and to multi-task across different tools and workflows.
