Aviya Aerospace Systems is a leader in engineering services and solutions for mission critical Aerospace and Defense applications. Aviya has an opening for a DPHM Engineering Technical Lead to join our engineering group in Mississauga, Ontario or Longueuil, Quebec. Specific Position Duties
- Plan and support engine health monitoring algorithm development and acceptance test activities in close collaboration with Manager of DPHM Analytics.
- Host Integrated Product Technical (IPT) meetings, conduct technical reviews and complete validation testing to ensure accurate incorporation of services in CAMP EHM platform.
- Lead change management initiatives to support launch and deployment of new engine program digital engine services.
- Coordinate issuance of Engineering Coordination Memo (CM) and Interface Control Documents (ICD), manage Stakeholder Requirements and build Sprint plans.
- Lead technical coordination efforts within DPHM engineering groups, engine program managers and customers for project success
- Communicate project risks, raise change requests and/or find feasible solutions and ensure best practices and processes are followed throughout project execution.
- Support implementation of dashboards and BI solutions in cloud platform for internal and external customer reporting and prepare periodic project status reports and milestone achievements.
- Lead engine health management service activation process in close collaboration with CAMP Systems International and customer service support teams.
Qualifications for Position
- Bachelor’s Degree or Mater’s degree in Aerospace Engineering.
- 5 years of professional experience required in the field of aviation with focus in engine performance analysis and digital services development and deployment.
- This position requires very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
- Certification in Project Management with proven program/project management experience.
- Experience in deploying large scale web applications as well as third party application integration.
- Experience in aircraft engine performance analysis and delivery of engine health management services.
- Experience with Agile development standards.
- Strong analytical skills and highly motivated with effective problem-solving skills and collaborative with strong teamwork skills.
- Proficient at handling several analytical tasks concurrently.
- Proficient in data modeling techniques and systems engineering projects.
- Experience with software version control including branching and merging strategies.
- Experience with code verification and configuration management processes.
- Proficient with design and development of web services UI/UX.
