About the Job
Senior Data Engineer, where you'll design and maintain scalable data solutions that drive business insights. You'll work with global teams and modern platforms like AWS, Redshift, and Tableau to build efficient data pipelines, support analytics, and lead migrations from legacy systems. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in collaborative environments, enjoys solving complex problems, and values continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures using best practices. Develop solutions integrating customer data from business systems, usage analytics, and CRM platforms like Salesforce.
- Lead the migration from legacy BI tools (e.g., SSIS, SSAS) to modern platforms such as Redshift, Tableau, and Databricks.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities to enhance data workflows and efficiency.
- Collaborate across teams using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid development methodologies.
- Model and transform data from multiple sources into a centralized data warehouse (Redshift).
- Create and maintain ETL/ELT processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Partner with analytics and business teams to deliver meaningful data visualizations and reports using tools like Tableau.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in data engineering, software development, or a related field. Hands-on expertise with cloud platforms, especially AWS and Amazon Redshift.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java, and working with SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, architecture, and engineering principles.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Ability to work independently and solve complex technical challenges. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.

Primary Location: Canada - Montreal (St. Laurent) Base Pay Range: $70,100 - $116,800 (CAD) Geographic differentials apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates. Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: If performed in Illinois, the pay range for this job is $73,700 - $122,900 This job is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
