Role: DLP Project/Deployment Manager

Location: Montreal, Canada

Duration: 6+ Months / Fulltime

BGV will be done for the selected candidates.

DLP Project/Deployment Manager The Firm

Data Leakage Program (DLP) team is responsible for the implementation and deployment of DLP tools and controls. The primary goal of the DLP Program is to reduce the risk of information breaches that may result in Firm, employee or client information being lost, stolen or acquired by an unauthorized party. The Firm is currently in the process of expanding the DLP Program to introduce new technologies and policies. The DLP Project Manager will be responsible for developing and driving strategy for the DLP Program.

Responsibilities include:

Develop plans for deployment of Symantec DLP Desktop Product Firmwide

Develop strategy for implementation of DLP Policies based in top firmwide and business unit data leakage risks

Partner with CISO , BUISO and Security Partners globally to identify specific DLP requirements

Partner with Security Engineering and the EUC DLP Dev Team on development of tools or implementation of vendor products to address data leakage risks.

Provide recommendation and strategy to leverage existing technologies and tools to introduce new policies to address data leakage risk

Develop strategy for implementation of DLP prevent mode

Document project plans, runbooks, escalation procedures and roles and responsibility information.

Partner with the Incident Response teams to identify and enhance data leakage controls in response to incidents

Communicate to CISO Team Senior Management and BUISO population on DLP Strategy and status update

SKILLS REQUIRED

Significant experience managing DLP technologies and deployments. Experience developing strategy for DLP Program preferred.

Strong Project Management Skills

experience managing large projects and deployments. Preferably past experience developing strategy for DLP Program. Experience with DLP Tools

Symantec DLP Desktop preferred 5 years + IT Security or Information Security experience

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Strong influencing skills Accurate and delivery focused mindset with good attention for detail

Highly organized, self-motivated individual who is proactive and has a strong sense of ownership

Strong Team Player Skills Flexible, highly driven, and able to collaborate effectively with multiple teams across the Firm including senior management

Strategic thinker who is able to balance short and long term deliverables

Ability to understand drivers and priorities, with regard to Business and regulatory requirements

Proficiency in MS Office and related applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, Visio, Project)

Bachelors Degree or Equivalent5+ years? Experience (preference in Financial Services)
