Program Overview

The ABB Discovery Program is designed for ambitious talent looking to gain hands-on experience across multiple facets of our business. Participants will rotate through our Testing, Field Service, and Engineering departments, developing technical skills, business acumen, and industry knowledge in a fast-paced environment over a total duration of 24 months.

This program is ideal for graduates from IGEE or similar backgrounds, eager to explore diverse roles, contribute to impactful projects, and build a strong foundation for a long-term career with ABB.

Key Responsibilities

During the rotation program, participants will:

  • Support Testing activities including equipment validation, performance analysis, factory acceptance tests and reporting.
  • Engage in Field Service operations, assisting with commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer support.
  • Contribute to Engineering projects, including design, process optimization, and solution development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve real-world challenges and improve operational efficiency.
  • Participate in workshops, training sessions, and mentorship programs to accelerate learning and professional development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (IGEE program preferred) or a similar discipline.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Passion for learning and adapting in a dynamic, global environment.
  • Willingness to travel 50% of the time within CA & USA for rotation assignments as required.
  • Valid passport and driving license for travelling.
