The Job: Director, Strategy & Transformation


The Director, Strategy and Transformation plays a critical role in shaping and delivering enterprise-wide transformation initiatives at MFSG. This role is accountable for leading strategic discovery, feasibility assessment, and transformation execution across priority initiatives, with a strong focus on process optimization, customer experience, operating model design, and intelligent automation. The Director will lead complex discovery efforts to assess the viability, impact, and readiness of strategic initiatives, applying systems thinking, facilitation, and structured problem-solving to inform investment

 How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Strategy & Initiative Shaping:
    • Lead strategic problem definition and initiative shaping across priority value streams; translate strategy into clear, decision-ready options, transformation themes, and value-realization opportunities
  • Discovery & Feasibility (Systems Thinking):
    • Facilitate discovery workshops to assess feasibility, value, risks, dependencies, and operating-model implications of proposed initiatives; apply systems thinking to complex, cross-functional problems.
  • Transformation Design & Execution:
    • Lead end-to-end transformation initiatives, including process optimization, operating model redesign, and delivery orchestration to ensure strategy is realized in execution.
  • Process Optimization & Intelligent Automation:
    • In partnership with Director, Enterprise Transformation Office, identify prioritize and oversee business process transformation initiatives, automation opportunities using lean, Six Sigma, re-engineering, and intelligent automation approaches.
  • Governance, Change & Value Realization & Reporting:
    • Partner with business and finance leaders to build value cases, support MBRs and QBRs, measure realized benefits, and provide transparent reporting and insights on transformation performance and ROI.

What You Bring:

  • Strong financial and business acumen with advanced analytical, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage in C-suite discussions and effectively communicate with diverse audiences, from senior executives to frontline team members.
  • Proven experience in leading and executing business process optimization initiatives that drive business growth, improved productivity and enhanced customer satisfaction.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change and challenge the status quo.
  • Demonstrated learning agility and passion for taking on new challenges and executing with high velocity.

Education + Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance or Management
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration preferred.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, Change Management, Problem-solving Frameworks certifications are a plus
  • 12-15 years of experience in strategy, Transformation or operations, with a proven track record of driving successful business outcomes.
  • Experience in Contact Center, Retail Transformation is desirable.
