We are seeking a bold, commercially driven Director of Product & Monetization to transform an existing product with strong potential into a high-performing creator monetization platform. This role is not about incremental optimization, it is about building revenue from the ground up.
You will own the end-to-end monetization strategy, turning creator activity into sustainable revenue through compelling pricing, packaging, and product mechanics. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands how platforms like OnlyFans succeed: by aligning creator incentives, fan behavior, and frictionless monetization into a flywheel that scales.
You'll evaluate our current offerings, uncover the key value drivers that motivate customer spending, and rapidly test, launch, and scale revenue-generating features through continuous iteration.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Take full ownership of transforming our platform into a fully monetized, scalable revenue engine.
- Conduct deep assessments of the current product, creator ecosystem, fan journeys, monetization opportunities, and cost structure.
- Define and execute a comprehensive monetization strategy across subscriptions, transactional features, and premium experiences.
- Design and optimize pricing, packaging, paywalls, and conversion mechanics that maximize creator earnings and platform revenue.
- Identify and prioritize high-impact initiatives that drive creator monetization, fan conversion, engagement, and retention.
- Partner closely with engineering, operations, compliance, and leadership to move from concept to launch rapidly.
- Establish success metrics and dashboards to track revenue, conversion, retention, and unit economics.
- Run disciplined experimentation to validate monetization hypotheses and scale proven strategies.
- Balance speed, compliance, and product integrity while delivering aggressive revenue outcomes.
- Communicate strategy, trade-offs, and results clearly to executive leadership.
What You'll Need to Be Successful:
Must Haves:
- 7–10 years of product leadership experience with direct ownership of monetization and revenue outcomes.
- Proven track record launching or scaling monetization in early-stage or growth environments.
- Demonstrated success significantly increasing revenue or monetization performance on existing products (e.g., 2x+ revenue growth, major conversion improvements).
- Deep expertise in subscription, transactional, and creator-led monetization models.
- Strong product judgment combined with commercial instinct; you understand what drives willingness to pay.
- Data-driven, decisive, and comfortable operating with ambiguity under high expectations.
- Ability to drive results while collaborating effectively across engineering, compliance, and operations.
Nice to Haves:
- Experience with creator platforms, marketplaces, adult-adjacent, or high-engagement consumer products.
- Experience building paywalls, tipping, messaging monetization, or premium content mechanics.
- Background in fast-scaling or turnaround environments.
- Experience operating in regulated or compliance-sensitive spaces.
As an equal opportunity employer, we celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees
