    • Coordinate the operationalization of non-financial risk management frameworks, including the risk appetite framework, by implementing new management practices and/or rules (e.g., thresholds, limits).

    • Implement assessment processes and monitoring and escalation mechanisms to ensure compliance with non-financial risk management frameworks, including compliance with ESG targets.

  • Support teams in the Business Services sector with non-financial risk management activities:

    • Continuously monitor the sector’s exposure to non-financial risks, based on analysis of operational, regulatory and ESG risk data to quickly identify breaches of established thresholds or limits.

    • Share relevant information on non-financial risks with each of the business lines, including via BI tools, to help them take proactive action.

    • Support teams in the Business Services Executive Division with independent oversight, audits and inspections, and follow up on the Business Services Executive Division’s audit action plans and mandates.

  • Support the Business sector with all its cross-business lines activities:

    • Contribute to the sector’s change initiatives and transformation projects by supporting implementation and conducting risk analyses to ensure compliance with frameworks in future state.

    • Strengthen Desjardins Group’s operational resilience by guaranteeing its ability to maintain or quickly recover essential operations in the event of unexpected disruptions that impact Business Services members and clients.

    • Carry out reporting on the sector by producing its risk profile and sharing analyses related to risk events and changes in our risk exposure.

  • Communicate changes constructively in a way that mobilizes teams.
