Job Description:
As Director of IT Operations, you will own the execution, reliability, and delivery of IT services across all PCS locations (offices, warehouses, and remote teams).
This is not a purely strategic role. While you will lead teams and vendors, you are expected to remain close to the technology and be hands-on when required, especially during major incidents, complex deployments, or new site launches.
You will report to the SVP, Global Technology and operate with clear accountability for day-to-day IT operations, allowing the organization to scale while maintaining stability and security.
Job Responsibilities:
- Owning global IT operations across multiple countries and time zones
- Leading and developing IT teams (service desk, infrastructure, network, field support)
- Ensuring reliable delivery of:
- End-user computing (Windows, macOS, mobile)
- Networks (LAN / WAN / WiFi)
- Identity & access services
- Collaboration platforms (Microsoft 365)
- Acting as the primary escalation point for operational IT issues
- Being hands-on during critical incidents, outages, and high-impact changes
- Executing cybersecurity controls and standards (endpoint security, MFA, patching, IR)
- Managing IT vendors, MSPs, ISPs, software licensing, and system integrators
- Owning IT operational budgets, asset management, and lifecycle planning
- Leading execution of IT projects
- Supporting audits, customer security reviews, and compliance activities
Who You Are:
- 10+ years in IT infrastructure and operations
- 5+ years in senior IT leadership roles (Senior Manager / Director)
- Experience supporting:
- Multi-site or global environments
- Warehouse, logistics, or operationally critical environments
- 24/7 production systems
- Strong operational IT background with the ability to go hands-on when needed
- Solid experience with:
- Microsoft 365 / Entra ID
- Windows & macOS endpoint management (MDM / Intune)
- Enterprise networking and connectivity
- Firewalls, VPNs, and security fundamentals
- Calm, structured decision-maker under pressure
- Clear communicator with both technical and business stakeholders
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must possess a valid passport and be authorized to travel to the United States and other global locations.
- This is a 100% remote role with potential travel requirements to the U.S. and international offices.
