OpenTable is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Director Sales & Services to oversee restaurant retention, acquisition, and revenue growth within Canada. This role will be responsible for leading a team of Sales Representatives and Account Managers while navigating local market conditions to ensure effective territory management and business expansion.

The ideal candidate will possess a growth-oriented mindset, capable of overcoming challenges in restaurant acquisition and retention. They will be expected to drive innovative strategies and solutions, pushing boundaries to meet ambitious targets. Building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and potential clients in the Canadian market will also be a critical aspect of the role.


In this role, you will:

  • Hire, train, mentor, and lead a team of Account Managers and Account Executives to consistently exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and retention targets.

  • Utilize business acumen to identify key drivers of growth, providing data-driven strategies and compelling proposals that lead to revenue expansion within the district.

  • Foster strong relationships with key customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of all OpenTable products and services, positioning them effectively to meet customer needs.

  • Communicate regularly and transparently with team members, peers, and stakeholders to align efforts and ensure collaborative success.

  • Partner with the regional marketing team to execute both B2B and B2C initiatives aimed at business growth.

  • Collaborate with strategic partners to identify and leverage key partnership opportunities within the Canadian market.


Please apply if:

  • 8+ years of experience in SaaS sales, strategy, and account management, with a proven track record of driving business growth.

  • At least 4 years of successful leadership experience managing sales and account management teams, with a focus on developing localized strategies to generate growth.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract actionable insights from data and translate them into effective strategies.

  • Competitive, goal-driven, and results-focused, with a passion for exceeding targets.

  • Confident in navigating challenging customer conversations, when necessary.

  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and quickly grasp complex concepts.

  • Agile and adaptable, with a willingness to take calculated risks in a fast-paced environment.

  • A strong passion for the hospitality industry.

  • Familiarity with local markets is highly desirable.

  • Fluency in French is desirable. 

  • Proficiency with Google Suite and Salesforce CRM is required.

  • Willingness to travel regionally and internationally as needed.

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. The range for this Canada based role is $180,000-$200,000 CAD.

We offer a competitive base salary and benefits including: health benefits; flexible spending account; retirement benefits; life insurance; paid time off (including PTO, paid sick leave, medical leave, bereavement leave, floating holidays and paid holidays); and parental leave benefits. This role is eligible to be considered for an annual bonus and equity grant.
