Location: Montreal, QC (Hybrid)

About us

Broadsign is a growing software company with a mission to make buying, selling, and delivering out-of-home media easier than ever. Our software is operated by some of the most successful out-of-home businesses and powers impactful, compelling campaigns seen across the world.

About the role

The Director of Financial Business Operations - Trading owns the financial lifecycle of our Trading (programmatic) DOOH business. This is a highly cross-functional role that bridges the gap between Finance and other departments, including AdOps, Sales, and Legal, ensuring that every transaction—from insertion order to final invoice—is executed with precision, margin integrity, and operational efficiency.

What to expect

Revenue & Billing Integrity You will oversee the end-to-end billing process for programmatic DOOH, reconciling data between DSP/SSP platforms and internal systems. You will be responsible for validating margins, identifying revenue leakage, and ensuring accurate revenue recognition. Additionally, you will manage complex commission calculations and incentive tracking for trading personnel.

Strategic Commercial Partnership As a primary finance voice in commercial forums, you will review deal structures and contracts to assess margin impact and tax exposure. You will translate complex operational workflows into clear financial implications, helping the business scale safely by escalating risks early.

Process Automation & Systems Leadership You will drive the automation roadmap for revenue operations, leading system improvements across ERP and billing platforms. By defining data governance standards while implementing and tracking KPIs, you will provide leadership with deep insights into geographic and industry performance drivers.

What you need to perform in this job
  • Experience: 6–10 years of experience blending accounting, revenue operations, and operational finance.
  • Industry Knowledge: Hands-on experience with programmatic media economics and DOOH workflows.
  • Technical Skills: Strong systems orientation with a focus on data governance and ERP/billing automation.
  • Soft Skills: Ability to influence without formal authority and remain credible in front of Sales leadership.
What we bring to the table
  • Comprehensive Benefits: 100% employer-paid insurance plan (health, dental, vision, travel).
  • Health & Wellness: $500 annual HCSA and $500 annual Wellness fund.
  • Retirement: Group RRSP with 50% matching up to 4% of salary.
  • Work-Life Balance: Minimum 3 weeks vacation plus 5 floater and 5 sick days.
  • Family First: Enhanced parental leave top-up (up to 23 weeks for maternity).
  • Growth: Yearly training budget and professional development support.

At Broadsign, we value the varied social identities that make up our community. We recognize talent comes in different forms and encourage applications that reflect different backgrounds and experiences. Our promise is to be an inclusive employer and partner, open to learning, with thoughtful strategies and practices that amplify the different voices of our industry.
