Job Description

Overview 

We are seeking a Director of Field Marketing to build and scale our field marketing function. This role is foundational to designing and launching field programs from zero to one, aligning cross-functional teams, and driving measurable impact across the business. The ideal candidate brings experience in Account-Based Marketing (ABM) within the technology or consulting industries and a proven track record of creating and growing field marketing programs. 

This role will be highly collaborative, requiring the ability to coordinate across multiple teams, align marketing with sales priorities, and lead a growing team. The right candidate is both a strategic thinker and hands-on operator who can drive initiatives forward in a fast-paced environment. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Strategic Roadmap Development: Lead the development of scalable field marketing programs that align with ABM strategies, sales enablement initiatives, and go-to-market plans. Work closely with sales and marketing leadership to ensure field efforts support corporate objectives and revenue growth. 

  • Cross-Team Collaboration and Organization: Drive alignment across teams, ensuring field marketing initiatives are integrated into the broader marketing strategy. Track, report, and communicate progress on key initiatives. 

  • Strategic Driver in Key Launches: Work closely with our vertical and technical teams to build and launch externally, including PR. To work closely with key leaders in identifying timelines and key priorities and aligning launch plans to OKRs in the business.  

  • Program Execution and Growth: Launch, execute, and optimize field marketing programs, including events, regional activations, content programs, and sales-driven initiatives. Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution and impact. Develop measurement frameworks to assess success and refine strategies. 

  • Leadership and Team Development: Build and grow a high-performing field marketing team, providing mentorship and guidance to scale programs effectively. Foster a collaborative, results-driven culture within the team and across the organization. 

  • Performance Measurement and Insights: Establish clear KPIs and reporting structures to track field marketing impact. Provide strategic insights and recommendations to leadership based on performance data, driving continuous improvement and alignment with business goals. 

Qualifications

What You Bring 

  • 6+ years of marketing experience, with a strong focus on field marketing, ABM, and sales alignment. 

  • Proven experience in the technology or consulting industry with a deep understanding of B2B marketing and complex sales cycles. 

  • Demonstrated ability to launch and scale field marketing programs from scratch, with a track record of driving measurable impact. 

  • Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience managing teams and working closely with sales, demand generation, and executive leadership. 

  • Data-driven mindset with expertise in tracking marketing performance and optimizing for growth. 

  • Ability to balance strategy with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Information

The starting pay range for this role is $160,000 - $180,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on several factors including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, certifications, training, and location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range and determining factors for compensation are considered for each individual circumstance.
