As the Director of Creator Relations at Viral Nation, you will lead a dynamic team responsible for recruiting top-tier influencers and creators in alignment with our segmentation and Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs). Your role is crucial in sourcing, negotiating, and maintaining communication with influencers and creators. Additionally, you will build and manage relationships with talent agencies across key verticals. A significant part of your role involves driving the adoption of Viral Nation's technologies among influencers and achieving specific targets that contribute to the strategic growth objectives of the company.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead and develop the Creator Relations team towards achieving set targets.
  • Instill a culture of high performance, innovation, and goal orientation.

Recruitment and Segmentation:

  • Strategically recruit influencers and creators, aligning with Viral Nation’s segmentation strategies and ICPs.
  • Implement recruitment strategies aimed at achieving specific growth targets.

Negotiation and Communication:

  • Lead negotiations with a focus on meeting and exceeding recruitment and performance targets
  • Ensure clear, consistent, and strategic communication with influencers and creators

Relationship Building and Management:

  • Develop relationships with talent agencies, creators, and clients;  focusing on strategic growth and target achievement
  • Serve as the primary strategic liaison between Viral Nation and external networks.

Technology Integration and Utilization:

  • Drive the adoption and effective use of Viral Nation’s technologies, aligning with strategic growth plans with regards to influencer onboarding and management
  • Facilitate training and support for technology platforms to maximize influencer performance and target realization

Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Offer strategic insight on relevant creators during planning of influencer campaigns with a focus on meeting growth objectives
  • Align creator relations strategies with the company’s overarching business and growth goals

Performance Analysis and Reporting:

  • Work with data and operations teams to regularly analyze and report on the performance of influencer partnerships against targets
  • Utilize data-driven insights to optimize strategies for target achievement and growth

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 7+ years of experience in the Talent and Influencer industry
  • Is an active participant and consumer of the social media industry
  • Demonstrated knowledge of, and prior experience with, analyzing social media metrics
  • Prior experience working with digital content creators, and/or influencers
This role has an annual salary range of $100,000.00 to $120,000.00 CAD
 
This range reflects the full scope and progression of the role, from building capability to operating with sustained impact at a higher level. In addition to base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits and total rewards package designed to support our team as they grow with us.

Where an offer falls within this range is determined through the interview process. Candidates are benchmarked by the hiring team based on role scope, relevant experience, skill alignment, and expected impact, using consistent and objective criteria.
Compensation Philosophy:

At Viral Nation, compensation is structured, performance-led, and market-aligned. Pay decisions are intentional, based on role requirements, performance, and market alignment by country, and are set to maintain internal pay equity across comparable roles and levels.

Compensation progression is tied to demonstrated performance, expanded scope, and sustained contribution over time, not tenure alone. Employee compensation is reviewed regularly through formal performance reviews and check-ins to ensure alignment with role expectations and impact.
