About the role

Nous cherchons un Directeur, Services juridiques, Indemnisation cautionnement & assurance crédit, pour notre équipe grandissante!
Ce que vous accomplirez chez nous :

  • Travailler au sein de l’équipe de l’indemnisation cautionnement & assurance crédit, une équipe multidisciplinaire composée notamment de professionnels chevronnés.
  • Gérer à titre d’avocat senior des dossiers complexes de grande envergure, impliquant notamment des litiges en droit de la construction et en insolvabilité.
  • Représenter Intact devant différentes instances judiciaires, fournir des avis et des conseils juridiques aux équipes de l’indemnisation et de la souscription cautionnement & assurance crédit.
  • Agir en tant que conseiller sur les questions liées aux dossiers cautionnement & assurance crédit, y compris afin de développer des stratégies adaptées et efficaces.
  • Offrir aux équipes internes de la formation adaptée aux besoins relativement aux dossiers cautionnement & assurance crédit.
  • Superviser les responsabilités quotidiennes de notre équipe d'avocats internes.
  • Établir et communiquer des objectifs de performance clairs et mesurer continuellement les progrès accomplis dans l'atteinte de ces objectifs.
  • Assurer un niveau élevé d'engagement des employés en surveillant continuellement l'engagement global et en créant et en exécutant des plans d'action d'engagement.
  • Fournir une rétroaction, un mentorat et un coaching réguliers et continus à votre équipe.
  • Aider votre équipe à comprendre et à appliquer les politiques et procédures de l’entreprise.
  • Soutenir la formation et le développement de l’expertise de notre équipe juridique interne.
  • Effectuer un examen régulier de la qualité des services et conseils juridiques rendus par votre équipe et fournir des conseils, des commentaires et de la formation appropriée en fonction des besoins.
  • Compiler et analyser des statistiques et des rapports tout en surveillant et en prédisant les tendances juridiques.
  • Diriger ou participer aux projets assignés par le directeur principal et/ou le vice-président de l’indemnisation cautionnement & assurance crédit.

Ce que vous mettrez à profit :

  • Diplôme en droit civil (LL.B), diplôme et formation en common law étant considéré comme un atout important.
  • Membre en règle du Barreau du Québec.
  • Expérience en litige commercial ou expérience pertinente équivalente, expérience en insolvabilité et en litige construction étant considérée comme un tout important.
  • Expérience en gestion d’une équipe juridique ou expérience pertinente équivalente étant considérée comme un atout.
  • Solide connaissance des règles de preuve et de procédure civile ainsi que des principes applicables en matière de litige commercial.
  • Maîtrise de Microsoft Office.
  • Compétences en gestion de projet.
  • Bilingue (français et anglais) Nécessité d’interagir sur une base régulière avec des collègues partout au pays
