JOB PURPOSE:
Reporting to the Digital Technology Manager, Agriculture , the Digital Technology Business Partner (Agriculture) is accountable for partnering with the North America Agriculture organizations to successfully deliver our business strategy. This role will work with key business stakeholders in the organization to improve business processes enabled by data and digital solutions. This role will work closely with the Global Digital Agriculture and Data & Analytics delivery teams to implement key programs for these functions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build strategic and trusted partnerships across our business : As a key partner with the North America Agriculture organization, the role works closely with North America business stakeholders to shape the opportunities for digital capabilities in the region. Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to and the implementation of new business processes, policies and information systems at all levels of complexity


  • Business technology digital capability roadmap development: Participate in the co-creation of digitally enabled business capability roadmap with key stakeholders and identify opportunities to achieve business outcomes through process optimization, digital solutions, and analytics. Shape capability demand, streamline processes and develop business requirements to meet business needs.
  • Portfolio management and value creation : Working closely with the Digital Technology Manager - Agriculture, support an overall portfolio of regional and global digital capability initiatives, set priorities, and align with regional and global teams to successfully deliver value and positive business outcomes.


  • Partner across the Global Technology digital delivery, development, and support teams to implement capabilities and solutions connected to our overall business strategy and business capability roadmap. Share a commitment to teamwork and building successful relationships.


  • Lead projects in the improvement, creation and implementation of best business practices and implementing digital solutions. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure delivery of results.


  • Be a change agent and advocate for improving processes through digitalization and drive adoption of new ways of working.


MEASURES OF SUCCESS:

  • Ensure that digital products, services, and solutions meet the specific needs and expectations of partners and customers to deliver the greatest possible value and impact.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrate deep understanding of agriculture business processes and North America Agriculture business objectives.
  • Actively participate in cross-functional teams to deliver results together as one team with common objectives.
  • Continuously learn and apply industry trends that add value to McCain's strategy.
    Demonstrate ability to set clear objectives, develop roadmaps, anticipate risks, measure performance, and evaluate results.


KEY QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCES:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience .
  • 3 + years' experience as a technology analyst or lead.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP System
  • Experience with Low Code Development, specifically Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps & Power Automate)
  • Proven experience leading and participating in delivering solutions and systems in consumer goods (CPG) companies.
  • Experience defining, developing and implementing a digitally enabled capability roadmap in a global or large, complex company.
  • Strong interpersonal skills working in cross-functional global and regional teams.

  • Key internal relationships: North America Agriculture business stakeholders and process owners as well as Global Digital Technology Program, Delivery and Support teams.
  • Travel: as required
  • Job is primarily performed in office in Oakbrook Terrace, IL USA, Toronto, Canada or Florenceville, Canada.

Compensation Package : $67,200.00 - $89,600.00 CAD annually + bonus eligibility
The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education/training, and other organizational needs.
