Purpose of the role
As our first Digital Performance Manager in Canada, you will be fluent in both English and French (written and spoken) and will own the end-to-end digital marketing performance for your customer portfolio - spanning SEO, AI search, PPC, paid and organic social. You will design and deliver integrated, results-driven digital strategies aligned to each client's objectives, while acting as their primary point of contact for all things digital.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver integrated digital marketing strategies for a portfolio of clients across SEO, AI search, PPC, and social media, ensuring delivery against primary objectives
- Plan, build, and optimize PPC and paid social campaigns, managing budgets to deliver against agreed KPIs and ROI targets
- Own the owned marketing strategy for your client base, including technical SEO, off-page SEO, on-page SEO and AI search optimization
- Manage organic social strategy and content calendars, ensuring brand consistency and engagement across relevant platforms
- Adopt an innovative way of working, identifying new channels and tactics to enhance the performance of clients’ marketing activity
- Become your clients’ primary point of contact for their digital marketing needs, building strong working relationships
- Ability to present and explain SEO, AI search, PPC, and social reasoning and solutions to all stakeholder hierarchies
- Lead client status calls, monthly performance reviews and quarterly business reviews, presenting campaign performance and recommendations across all digital channels, either face-to-face or remotely
- Identify areas of opportunity within your existing client base, to drive performance and deliver against departmental revenue targets
- Generate strong working relationships with our go-to-market and customer success teams to identify opportunities for growth and minimize customer churn
- Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities through SEO, AI search and paid marketing audits
- Share your experience and knowledge with other marketing services team members, acting as a digital subject matter expert for Canada
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for your customer portfolio, monitor performance and drive tangible improvements
- Using data available in GA4, ad platforms, our business intelligence suite and other Martech platforms, analyze performance and embed data-led recommendations into your marketing plans
- Actively research and keep up to date with digital marketing trends across SEO, AI search, PPC, and social media
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a digital marketing role, with hands-on experience across SEO, AI search, PPC, and social media advertising
- Proven experience in creating and managing owned marketing strategies
- Proven experience planning, building, and optimizing paid campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads and Meta Ads
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze and draw insights from large data sets across multiple channels
- Ability to demonstrate your expertise to customers and internal stakeholders, using data to support your ideas and recommendations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to expertly identify and present new business opportunities to existing customers
- Ability to work autonomously and achieve the best results for your customer portfolio
- Prior account management experience, with a track record of building strong client relationships
