We are seeking a Decarbonization Programs Intern to support the planning and deployment of projects aimed at reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and the environmental footprint of our last-mile operations. This is an exciting opportunity to drive climate action that shapes the future of low-carbon logistics.
Responsibilities
Assist in planning and coordinating sustainability programs for last mile operations, including the electrification of delivery partners' fleets.
Ensure electric vehicle related constraints are considered in activity planning
Collaborate with delivery partners to implement and monitor initiatives.
Support in the electrification of operations and business strategies
Help track program timelines, budgets, and key performance indicators to ensure projects are on track.
Develop educational tools for employees and partners, in line with project objectives
Analyze project performance data to implement continuous improvements
Promote sustainability initiatives both internally and externally to foster a culture of environmental responsibility.
The role involves daily (or regular) communication with pan-Canadian stakeholders.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master’s degree in sustainable development, engineering, business administration, project management, or a related field.
Understanding of sustainable development practices, including decarbonization and environmental issues.
Strong collaboration, persuasion and communication skills
Proactive, adaptable and solution driven.
