Job Description

Ubisoft is looking for a Data Scientist to join the Smart Services team within the Global Publishing entity. In this role, you will support the team delivering business solutions such as customers recommendation and personalized services, players Lifetime Value predictions, Marketing Mixed Models (MMM) or Attribution.

What you’ll do

  • Learn about our machine learning tools and work environment to improve and develop new models around personalization services and lifetime value predictions.  
  • Learn about Ubisoft’s big data tracking and platforms to provide reporting and analysis around your research.
  • Gather data and collaborate with Ubisoft data stakeholders such as IT, CRM, Marketing Analytics, and Developers to ensure the feasibility of your solutions and their performance analysis.
  • Work on scaling and automating the solutions and models (ML Ops).
  • Create formalized knowledge-based documentation about the team solutions, tools and processes.
  • Support the team with new ideas and promote ML Ops solutions and best practices.

Qualifications

What you’ll bring

  • Background in math, computer science or engineering.
  • Proficient with Python, Spark and SQL.
  • Good understanding of machine learning models and common libraries.
  • Experience working with lakehouse data platform (Databricks, Snowflake…) and Cloud storage and compute solutions (Big Query, Azure, AWS)
  • Experience with collaborative development tools like GitLab and CI/CD practices
  • Familiar with ML Ops best practices and processes
  • Good communication skills.
  • Bilingual French/English.
