Data Backup Administrator

As a data backup administrator, you carry out day-to-day operational activities for Desjardins’s Commvault, Commvault Cloud (Metallic) and Cohesity backup solutions. You help ensure that our services are managed effectively for our clients and users. More specifically, you’re responsible for ensuring the operational health of our Commvault, Commvault Cloud (Metallic) and Cohesity services. More specifically, you will be required to:

• Handle and follow up on a range of requests from our clients and users

• Generate and improve reports on various performance indicators

• Analyze and work together with our suppliers to resolve various issues and problems

• Ensure the everyday operational health of our operations across all our backup tools

• Ensure ongoing communication with our clients and users

What you bring to the table

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in data backup administration

• Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

• Knowledge of French is required

• Intermediate knowledge of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients

• Knowledge of Commvault, Commvault Cloud (Metallic) and Cohesity backup tools
