What you will accomplish with us

As a Data Analytics Senior Advisor, you will be at the heart of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and promote the use of data analytics and continuous auditing methodology within Internal Audit.

  • Participate in audit mission planning to identify opportunities for data analysis.

  • Gather, analyze, and communicate data and analytics needs, and coordinate their integration into audit engagements.

  • Contribute to defining analytical scenarios and tests related to risks, controls, and audit objectives.

  • Support auditors in interpreting analytical results.

  • Ensure the quality, traceability, and governance of the data used.

  • Document procedures and findings in accordance with internal audit standards.

  • Provide strategic recommendations based on analytical results to support decision‑making.

  • Collaborate with IT teams and data owners to access and structure the data required for audit activities.

  • Develop and maintain tools, models, or scripts to automate data analysis.

  • Support process automation, reporting, and performance tracking, including the development of key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Train teams on data analysis tools and provide technical support for interpreting results.

  • Stay informed on the latest trends and technologies in data analytics and auditing.

What could accelerate your success in this role

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds a college diploma or a bachelor’s degree in audit, finance, IT, risk management, data science, or any other relevant field.

  • Has 6 to 8 years of experience in data analytics, audit, risk management, or a similar role.

  • Is known for strong proficiency with data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, ACL, Python, R) and database environments.

  • Stands out through solid knowledge of data visualization, statistics, and automation tools such as Power BI, Alteryx, or Tableau.

  • Demonstrates strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex results to non‑technical audiences.

  • Shows great analytical skills, autonomy, rigor, and problem‑solving abilities.

  • Intermediate level of proficiency in English as the person will be required to work with subsidiaries outside Canada and interact with English‑speaking stakeholders on a regular basis. They will spend approximately 50% of their time on mandates that require strong command of the English language.

  • Fluent in French both oral and written
