Position Purpose:

Define the vision and roadmap for data and analytics products and services. Guide product development and delivery, managing product lifecycles, and ensuring product value achievement based on stakeholder-aligned objectives and goals.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand needs, trends, market influences, and technical challenges, creating and communicating product roadmaps.

Define product hierarchies, user personas, and product objectives, ensuring development and delivery teams have the support they need. Using customer feedback and performance metrics, Make data-driven decisions for future development.

Drive our product vision and strategy, by driving product innovation and success for the business.

  • Defining Product Vision and Strategy: Responsible for collaborating with business stakeholders and sponsors to define product vision, strategy, and goals that align to short and long-term market needs and goals.

  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to determine customer needs, external forces, and technical challenges and opportunities to define short and long-term roadmaps.

  • Product Lifecycle Management: Facilitate data driven product decisions to invest, replatform, migrate, or retire.

  • Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Be a trusted partner and go-to expert on product effectiveness, opportunities, and experiences. Support engagement with stakeholders to understand changes to their strategies, priorities, and goals in order to maintain alignment with the product expectations.

  • Customer Advocacy: Act as the voice of the customer and ensure their customer journey painpoints are accounted for and align to short and long-term product strategies.

  • Continuous Improvement: Advocate and champion iterative processes that continually refine and enhance product innovation and delivery.

  • Risk Management: Foresee and communicate potential technical, market, or external variables that pose a risk to product success and orchestrating risk mitigation options and solutions.

  • Metrics and Key Business Objectives and Results: Use key performance indicators that measure product success and ensure business objectives and key results are achieved. Ensure data and metrics are automated with regular monitoring and corrective planning processes in place.

  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Complies with all policies and standards

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
2-4 years' experience.
Experience in a product or analytical role, preferably in the data science, data management, analytics, or reporting space.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) is a plus.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.
Soft Skills:

  • Intermediate - Seeks to acquire knowledge in area of specialty

  • Intermediate - Ability to identify basic problems and procedural irregularities, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

  • Intermediate - Ability to work independently

Pay Range: $85,300.00 - $158,100.00 per year

Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status.  Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives. Benefits may be subject to program eligibility.
