What the Role Entails
As a Data Analytics Intern, you will work with our analytics team to analyze player behavior, game performance, and business metrics.
● Assist in collecting, cleaning, and analyzing large datasets related to player behavior, game performance, and monetization.
● Develop dashboards and visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, or other BI tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
● Support A/B testing initiatives to optimize game features and player experiences.
● Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends and insights.
● Work with SQL to extract and manipulate data from databases.
● Collaborate with game designers, developers, and marketing teams to provide data-driven recommendations.
● Document findings and present insights to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
Who We Look For
● Currently pursuing (or recently completed) a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
● Familiarity with SQL and ability to query large datasets.
● Basic knowledge of Python (Pandas, NumPy) or R for data analysis.
● Experience with Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Passion for video games and understanding of player behavior.
● Ability to communicate insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred (Nice to Have):
● Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization tools.
● Understanding of A/B testing and statistical analysis.
● Knowledge of game industry KPIs (e.g., DAU, MAU, ARPU, Retention Rates).
