As a Data Analyst within the Strategy and Analytics team in the Pricing, New Business and Claims division, you will play a central role in advancing our business intelligence capabilities. You will collaborate with data analysts, managers, pricing and claims specialists, and other business partners to transform data into performance drivers.

What you’ll accomplish with us

As a Data Analyst, you’ll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and optimize business intelligence tools to support business decisions;
  • Contribute to risk management controls and market analyses;
  • Translate business needs into practical, tailored and well-documented solutions;
  • Analyze data and recommend key performance indicators;
  • Actively participate in the governance of business intelligence assets;
  • Contribute to the quality of information data;
  • Support business partners in identifying and defining their needs by highlighting available data and value-creation opportunities.

What could accelerate your success in this role

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Holds a bachelor’s degree in statistics, actuarial science, business intelligence or another related field;
  • Has at least two years of relevant experience in data analysis, business intelligence or a similar role;
  • Is proficient in SQL and a data visualization tool such as Power BI or Tableau;
  • Demonstrates strong analytical thinking and the ability to analyze complex data;
  • Communicates technical concepts effectively to business partners with varied backgrounds;
  • Demonstrates autonomy, initiative and rigour, particularly in validation and documentation;
  • Has a strong interest in technology and the ability to learn and use new tools and programming languages;
  • Has experience in the insurance or financial services industry. Knowledge of a programming language used in data analysis, such as Python or R, is considered an asset.
