Job Description

Build the future with us

Are you driven by technological innovation, software quality, and the evolution of IT delivery practices? Do you want to contribute to the mission of an organization dedicated to ensuring its clients feel confident and secure about their future?

As a System Team Developer, you will play a key role in modernizing development and deployment practices by supporting application teams through standards, high-performing tools, and technological accelerators, including artificial intelligence.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to showcase your technical expertise and influence-based leadership within a caring and trusted organization where people, collaboration, and innovation are top priorities.

What you will accomplish with us

As a System Team Developer, you will be at the heart of our mission. Your main responsibilities include:

  • Acting as a technological facilitator and guardian of development and deployment standards by supporting application teams with secure, high-performing tools, pipelines, and practices aligned with the corporate vision.

  • Actively contributing to the implementation and integration of artificial intelligence (AI) solutions throughout the delivery lifecycle (accelerators, templates, assistant tools), while applying a responsible AI approach (security, compliance, traceability).

  • Designing, maintaining, and evolving CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps and/or GitHub), including deployment automation and continuous improvement initiatives to increase delivery speed and reliability.

  • Defining, standardizing, and evolving DevX standards (e.g., SonarQube, Snyk, GitHub Copilot, Infrastructure as Code), and providing reusable reference pipelines and templates to application teams.

  • Supporting teams in the adoption of tools and best practices (coaching, workshops, documentation, playbooks), fostering team autonomy and reducing cognitive load.

  • Ensuring security and observability by design (Dynatrace, logs, metrics, traces), and supporting the integration of monitoring and alerting standards.

  • Leading modernization and continuous improvement initiatives (standardization, automation, templates, starter kits, testing practices) in collaboration with platform, application, and security teams.

  • Acting as a key point of contact between application, platform, and security teams to facilitate integration, governance, and change management for impactful initiatives.

What will help you succeed in this role

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has 10+ years of experience in information technology, including several years in a similar role (platform, DevOps/DevX, cross-functional tooling, or System Team).

  • Has at least 2 years of experience integrating artificial intelligence (AI) solutions.

  • Is recognized for influence-based leadership, a collaborative mindset, and a solution- and business-value-oriented approach.

  • Is fluent in French and has an intermediate level of English, as the role involves daily communication and collaboration with internal and external English-speaking stakeholders across Canada.

  • Demonstrates strong expertise in DevOps / DevSecOps and CI/CD practices within complex environments.

  • Excels at defining and driving the adoption of cross-functional standards.

  • Shows strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and proven problem-solving abilities.

Why you’ll love working with us

  • A work environment where learning and development merge with a collective pursuit of excellence;

  • A healthy, safe, fair, and inclusive environment where potential can be freely expressed and developed;

  • The opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, supported by flexibility and access to inspiring and innovative workspaces;

  • Competitive benefits: Flexible group insurance, competitive pension plan, stock purchase plan, vacation and wellness/personal development days, telemedicine, employee and family assistance program, ergonomic furniture program, performance bonus, discounts on iA products, and much more!
