Job Summary:

We are seeking a driven and highly skilled Cybersecurity Account Executive to join our dynamic sales team. This role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of cybersecurity solutions/services and a proven track record in sales. As an Account Executive, you will play a critical role in generating new business, building long-term relationships with clients, and helping organizations enhance their security posture in an increasingly complex threat landscape.

You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, identifying new sales opportunities, and positioning our cybersecurity products and services to prospective clients. This does include marked targets pertaining to the DarkSense platform, Cybersecurity services and associated partner products. The role combines technical sales expertise and offers the opportunity to position proprietary and market led security solutions in a rapidly evolving industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Execution:
    Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Focus on building and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline by identifying, prospecting, and qualifying leads.
  • Client Engagement & Relationship Building:
    Establish and nurture strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients. Understand their cybersecurity challenges, needs, and goals, and deliver tailored solutions to address those needs. Drive in-house business development from existing accounts.
  • Product/Service Knowledge & Solution Selling:
    Leverage in-depth knowledge of our cybersecurity products and services, including but not limited to penetration testing, red team, risk assessments, network security, endpoint protection, identity management, cloud security, SOC/SIEM, and compliance solutions. Effectively present solutions/services and demonstrate value to potential customers.
  • Vendor Management:
    Work closely with Cybersecurity best of breed solution companies such as Crowdstrike, Proofpoint, Netskope, Palo Alto and more to drive software license sales and net new business. This includes establishing regular cadence meetings for strategy and pipeline development with external vendor sales reps. Knowledge of the vendor ecosystem is preferred.
  • Market Research & Opportunity Identification:
    Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and trends within the cybersecurity industry. Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity threats, technologies, and best practices to offer insightful, strategic advice to clients.
  • Sales Presentations & Proposals:
    Lead sales presentations, product demonstrations, and support with RFP responses. Support the Presales team with customized proposals that address client needs, showcase our solutions, and outline potential ROI and business outcomes.
  • Collaboration & Cross-Functional Teamwork:
    Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, sales engineering, and customer success, to ensure the successful delivery of solutions and services to clients. Partner with technical teams to ensure proper solution alignment and delivery.
  • Negotiation & Closing:
    Lead negotiations with potential clients, including contract terms and pricing. Drive the sales process from initial contact through to the closing of the deal.
  • CRM & Reporting:
    Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system (e.g., ZOHO or Salesforce), track sales activities, and provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    3+ years of experience in both B2C and B2B sales, preferably within the cybersecurity, technology, or IT solutions space. Extra emphasis working with SIEM technology experience and MSSP’s is ideal. Proven success in a consultative selling environment with a track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Industry Knowledge:
    Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, trends, and challenges, including penetration testing, risk assessments, network security, cloud security, endpoint protection, SOC/SIEM, risk management, and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO 27001, HIPAA, etc.).
  • Sales Skills:
    Demonstrated ability to identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities. Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Vendor Management:
    Experience working with best of breed solution providers such as Crowdstrike, Proofpoint, Netskope and Palo Alto to drive sales.
  • Technical Aptitude:
    Ability to understand and articulate complex cybersecurity solutions. A background or familiarity with technical aspects of cybersecurity products and services is highly preferred.
  • Education:
    Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Certifications:
    Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, CEH) or technical sales certifications are a plus.
  • Soft Skills:
    Highly motivated and results-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment.

Hours:
40 hours per week.

Compensation:
Market competitive salary + commission structure based on experience & Qualifications.
