As a Technical Project Manager (TPM) at Nokia, you will be based in the same country as our customers, providing expert support and real-time updates. TPMs are integral to our success, as they possess deep knowledge of Nokia IP equipment deployment and operation, enabling them to anticipate and resolve issues proactively. Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, understanding their needs and challenges at both the company and individual levels.
- Foster collaboration between hardware engineers, software developers, and product teams to ensure seamless alignment.
- Identify and address bottlenecks, manage risks, and provide clear and timely project updates to all stakeholders.
- Align resources and manage material constraints for NPI activities, ensuring efficient project execution.
- Maintain and track customer engineering test schedules, ensuring lab qualifications and predicting lab exits accurately.
- Proactively track and resolve issues during customer lab qualifications, assigning actions and ensuring timely progress.
- Stay updated with the latest networking protocols, including BGP, TCP/IP, and UDP, and network design principles.
- Understand data center architectures and their implications for network deployment and operation.
- Work closely with the customer's operational, engineering, and management personnel to align project goals.
- Ensure a smooth and successful deployment and integration process, leveraging your self-motivation and goal-oriented mindset.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in deploying Optical networks, including Long-haul, Regional, and Metro networks.
- Proven track record in driving large-scale networking, internet infrastructure, or cloud platform projects.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a history of successful deployment and integration delivery.
- In-depth knowledge of networking protocols (BGP, TCP/IP, UDP) and network design principles.
- Experience with data center architectures and their integration with networking solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to bridge technical gaps.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to risk management.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Willingness to travel as required by the customer's needs and project demands.
