About the Customer Marketing Coordinator Role

Customer Marketing Coordinator will support Customer Marketing Manager in the implementation of winning programs at the point of sale. They will provide administrational services to ensure timeliness of submissions, approval follow up, program execution, listing product applications and purchase orders.

Location:  Montreal, QC - Hybrid

Key Deliverables

  • Maintain and administer Trade Marketing activity trackers, working with Customer Marketing Manager & Brand Managers to ensure trackers are current and capture recent approvals and adjustments agreed upon with Brand.
  • Manage programming submissions for Liquor Boards, ensuring timely submission and proposed programming complies with Liquor Board procedures and regulations and proactively follow-up on approvals.
  • Administer product listing process supporting Brand teams, from completing applications to submitting labels, cartons, samples for chemical analysis, etc. for liquor board approval.
  • Ownership of managing deadline calendar – ensure all liquor board programming submission and listing deadlines are captured and distributed to Brand team with adequate lead time (when possible) and followed up with a timely reminder.
  • Support manager in preparation of pitch presentations to customers for listing application.
  • Liaise with Liquor Board administration staff to ensure smooth program implementation.
  • Develop an in depth understanding of retail programming in relation to brand strategy, customer program offering, etc., with the ability to translate into recommended programs and evaluate post performance.
  • Administer the purchase order process for East Liquor Boards.
  • Support Customer Marketing Manager in commercial planning, emphasis on updating activity trackers and execution of timelines.
  • Assist in program implementation via project trafficking process – work with Brand teams, Logistics, and procurement partner to ensure timely deployment and execution of value-add programs.
  • Support Customer Marketing Manager with other duties as assigned.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in marketing, trade or sales, preferably within beverage alcohol or CPG industry.
  • Post-secondary education in marketing, business, or sales training.
  • Strong organization skills, ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Comfortable operating under pressure, in a dynamic environment, and across functions.
  • Team player, who also works well with minimal supervision and direction.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) and knowledge of PC operating system.

Physical Demands

Position is mostly sedentary and requires use of computer.

About the Associate Customer Marketing Coordinator Role

Relevant du gestionnaire du marketing commercial, le coordonnateur travaille en étroite collaboration avec l’équipe marketing étant responsable du développement et du suivi des plans de marketing annuel. Il agit à titre de soutien administratif pour garantir la ponctualité des offres de services, le suivi des approbations, l'exécution des programmes, la planification, la liste des offres de produits et bons de commande.

Description de tâches

·        Maintenir et administrer les trackers d'activités de marketing commercial, en collaboration avec les gestionnaire commercial et marketing pour s’assurer qu’ils capturent les approbations et les ajustements récents convenus avec l’équipe marketing.

·        Gérer les soumissions de promotions pour les régies des alcools, en veillant à ce que celles-ci soient émises en temps opportun et qu’elles soient conformes aux normes des différentes régies. Assurer le suivi proactif des soumissions.

·        Administrer le processus de référencement de nouveaux produits (gestion de tous les documents, formulaires, échantillons, étiquettes etc. que les régies des alcools peuvent exiger selon leurs règles établies)

·        Gestion du calendrier des échéances – responsable que toutes les échéances de soumission et d'inscription des programmes aux régies des alcools sont capturées et distribuées aux personnes clés avec un délai d'exécution adéquat (si possible) et suivies d'un rappel en temps opportun.

·        Supporter les gestionnaires dans la préparation des présentations de pitch aux clients pour l'application de référencement.

·        Contact clé avec le personnel administratif des Régies des alcools

·        Développer une compréhension approfondie de la programmation de vente au détail en relation avec la stratégie de marque, l'offre de programme client, etc., avec la capacité de traduire en programmes recommandés et d'évaluer les performances.

·        Administrer le processus de bon de commande pour les commissions des alcools de l'Est.

·        Soutenir le gestionnaire du marketing commercial dans la planification commerciale, en mettant l'accent sur la mise à jour des suivis d'activité et l'exécution des échéanciers.

·        Gestion du matériel promotionnel pour les promotions au détail (valeur ajoutée ou autre) Travailler de pair avec les différentes équipes pour assurer le déploiement du matériel en temps pour l’exécution des promotions.

  • Soutien le Gestionnaire du Marketing Commercial dans tout autre tâche assignées. Other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Plus de 3 ans d'expérience en marketing, commerce ou vente, de préférence dans l'industrie des boissons alcoolisées ou CPG.
  • Études postsecondaires en marketing, en affaires ou en vente.
  • Solides compétences organisationnelles, capacité à effectuer plusieurs tâches, à établir des priorités et à gérer efficacement le temps.
  • À l'aise de travailler sous pression, dans un environnement dynamique.
  • Esprit d'équipe, qui travaille également bien avec un minimum de supervision et de direction.
  • Excellentes compétences de communication verbale et écrite en français et en anglais.
  • Maîtrise de MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) et connaissance du système d'exploitation PC.
