The Category Insights Analyst is responsible for supporting the organization by conducting business analyses to provide actionable insights and recommendations for both internal and external clients. The role provides data-driven insights to support decision-making, improve profitability, and strengthen client relationships (through a relevant and optimized portfolio strategy across product assortment, pricing & promotion, and distribution).

  • Support the Marketing team with category reviews and performance analysis. Transform observations into fact-based recommendations and solutions to stimulate category and Agropur’s performance.
  • Conduct analysis for the cheese and butter category, leveraging flawlessly consumer research and market data to uncover business opportunities, potential risks and optimize strategies.
  • Monitor market and competitive trends to recommend relevant action plans
  • Participate in meetings with multidisciplinary teams to assess needs and provide in-depth analysis.

‘The type of team player who fits in:’

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a relevant field required.
  • Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in customer insights or category required.
  • Experience in the consumer-packaged goods industry.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in French and English (English required to work with colleagues and clients in other Canadian provinces).
