We’re looking for a passionate, experienced cryptography advisor in certificate management to join our infrastructure security team. You’ll play a key role in designing, implementing and managing critical cryptographic systems, ensuring their security, availability and compliance with the strictest standards. You’ll be responsible for securing and managing certificates and cryptographic infrastructure in a complex, large-scale environment. You will work throughout the life cycle of keys and certificates, while ensuring compliance with the most rigorous security standards and delivering quality customer service that is adapted to business needs. More specifically, you will be required to :
Configure and maintain cryptographic components in production, including the certificate life cycle, document signatures and operating a CMS for a large-scale organization
Help develop and implement cryptographic service automation capabilities related to certificate management
Participate in technical and business projects, develop solutions and train stakeholders on cryptography best practices
Work with DevOps and security teams to resolve technical issues
Respond to security, integrity or availability incidents related to operational cryptography
Manage the complete certificate life cycle, including serving and responding to clients’ business needs
Monitor certificates that are set to expire, coming up for renewal or being acquired, and prevent issues relating to security, availability and incidents
Implement quality and tracking indicators for operational cryptography activities and manage any gaps
Draft technical and operational procedures
Occasionally participate in key ceremonies and manage Desjardins Group’s cryptographic secrets

What you bring to the table
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field
A minimum of eight years of relevant experience in data science
Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
Experience managing CMS software, with specialist knowledge in certificate handling
Experience managing and implementing encryption security technologies and certificate life cycle management solutions (for example, protocols, X.509, BYOK/HOYK, cryptographic key management, certification authorities, digital signatures, security vaults, FIPS, NIST, PKCS compliance standards)
Experience managing cryptographic infrastructures in data centres
Knowledge of French is required
Expert knowledge of cryptographic concepts: PKI, (CP/CPS), TLS, X.509, symmetric/asymmetric algorithms, post-quantum cryptography
Knowledge of cryptographic processes and procedures related to payment associations (such as Visa, MasterCard, Interac, etc.), including banking and e-payment systems requirements
