About the role

Ruby Labs is looking for a Senior CRO Manager for one of its products "GetQR" with deep experience optimizing subscription-based D2C SaaS or SMB SaaS products, especially those that use low-cost trial funnels (e.g., $1 trial for 7 days, then $40 per month).

Your mission is straightforward: achieve 15%+ conversion growth per quarter across the full GetQR funnel—from landing page → QR creation flow → sign-up → trial start.

This is not a “recommend things from the sidelines” role. You will own the entire CRO engine, end-to-end: data, insights, hypotheses, design, experimentation, QA, and rollout. You are fully accountable for performance outcomes.

GetQR moves fast, ships fast, and rewards top performers directly for the measurable impact they deliver.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own full-funnel CRO cycles: research → hypothesis → high-fidelity mockups → A/B test execution → rollout.

  • Analyze subscription funnels with low-cost trials, identifying friction at each stage (trial start, upgrade, churn risks).

  • Conduct competitor and market analysis across D2C SaaS and SMB SaaS products with similar trial structures.

  • Design creative, high-impact UI/UX variations that drive stronger trial starts and subscription conversions.

  • Collaborate with engineering to ensure pixel-perfect implementation and rapid experimentation velocity.

  • Use statistical rigor to validate test results and confidently scale winning variants.

  • Build a systematic testing roadmap that compounds conversion gains over time.

  • Present insights and results to leadership clearly and persuasively.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of hands-on CRO experience working with subscription-based SaaS funnels (D2C or SMB).

  • Direct experience optimizing low-cost trial flows (trials or discounted intro periods).

  • Proven, documented record of meaningful conversion lifts in similar business models.

  • Strong UI/UX sensibility and the ability to produce high-quality mockups that communicate test concepts clearly.

  • Proficiency in GA4, Mixpanel, GrowthBook, or equivalent analytics & experimentation tools.

  • Extreme attention to detail, with a bias for rapid testing and iteration.

  • Ownership mentality: comfortable being fully accountable for performance.

  • Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have
  • Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Looker, or similar).

  • Exposure to marketing attribution models, UTM parameters, and ROAS measurement.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and execute quickly.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Location

Ruby Labs operates within the CET (Central European Time) zone. Applicants from any country are welcome to apply for the position as long as they are located within approximately ± 4 hours of CET. This ensures optimal collaboration and communication during working hours.
