What you’ll do

 

The CRM and Email Operations Specialist will be primarily responsible for the technical and operational execution of CRM communications for the Sports Experts, Atmosphere and Trio Hockey banners. Reporting to the Media and Go-to-Market Manager, this person will work closely with the CRM Lead, content and creative teams, as well as corporate CRM teams at Canadian Tire, to build, integrate, test and deploy email campaigns, customer journeys and automations in Adobe Journey Optimizer. This role is key to ensuring CRM operational continuity, improving execution agility and building strong internal expertise in email production, HTML integration, segmentation and deployment quality.


 

Key Responsibilities


  • Integrate and deploy daily email campaigns and CRM communications in Adobe Journey Optimizer for the Sports Experts, Atmosphere and Trio Hockey banners.
  • Develop, maintain and evolve responsive HTML emails, templates and reusable components to support efficient and consistent execution.
  • Adapt mock-ups and content provided by the content and creative teams into functional emails that are aligned with brand standards and optimized for different email platforms.
  • Configure audiences, segments, personalization rules and deployment settings in Adobe Journey Optimizer based on campaign and customer journey requirements.
  • Participate in the technical configuration, testing and implementation of customer journeys and automated campaigns.
  • Perform QA and link testing, personalization and segmentation, and identify and resolve technical issues related to display, HTML integration or configuration.
  • Create and maintain acquisition, sign-up or data collection forms when required.
  • Support campaign performance tracking by producing performance analyses and sharing insights that help optimize content, testing and deployments.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and corporate CRM teams to align email production practices and processes, integrate best practices and ensure compliance with governance, data, consent and deliverability standards.

 

What you bring


  • College or University degree in marketing, communications, e-commerce, multimedia integration, information technology or a related field.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in email production, digital marketing, CRM, HTML integration or marketing operations.
  • Strong command of HTML and responsive email best practices; knowledge of CSS as applied to email environments.
  • Experience with a CRM or marketing automation platform, ideally Adobe Journey Optimizer or a similar platform.
  • Understanding of email production processes, segmentation, personalization, QA testing, deployment and technical troubleshooting.
  • High level of rigour, attention to detail and ability to deliver error-free communications in a high-volume environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables at the same time, meet tight deadlines and quickly adapt to changing priorities.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret campaign results and identify operational optimization opportunities.
  • Autonomy, resourcefulness, technical curiosity and willingness to learn in an evolving technology environment.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written.
  • Experience in retail, an omnichannel environment or high-volume communications is an asset.
