POSITION OVERVIEW  

We are looking for a Coordinator, Learning to lead the development, coordination, implementation and deployment of various learning and talent development initiatives. 

Learning Management System (LMS, i.e. Workday Learning) administration is key to this role, as well as coordination of all learning efforts, including deployment of all initiatives (online, virtual, in class), activities planning and scheduling, as well as material coordinating. Troubleshooting technical issues and providing excellent customer service is required as the Learning Coordinator is the key contact for all questions and inquiries. In addition to supporting our Learning initiatives, the Learning Coordinator will support different talent and employee experience initiatives. 

CHALLENGES TO BE MET  

  • Administrating and managing the LMS (interface, catalog, assignments, deployment, upload content, testing courses, communications, reports and regular maintenance); 

  • Coordinating different Learning, as well as Talent initiatives including logistics, communications, and systems; 

  • Communicating and promoting initiatives via online communities, in person or virtual contacts, videos, etc.; 

  • Supporting learning program curation efforts as needed; 

  • Connecting and maintaining relationships with external service providers to resolve problems, update courses and fill out test and bug records; 

  • Collaborating with different business units to determine and deploy learning programs and talent initiatives; 

  • Providing exceptional customer service to employees regarding all enquiries relating to learning, and offer technical support in the event of problems with the learning center or materials within; 

  • Staying current with industry trends and best practices in learning technology and learning deployment strategies; 

  • Provide LMS training and demos to managers and employees as required; 

  • Host live virtual training as the technical support resource. 

  • Coordinating the preparation of progress and evaluation reports for a specific course or group of courses. 

  • Collaborate with the various HR expertise centers as well as HR business partners to maintain an integrated calendar of the various events that will take place as part of BDC's operations. 

  • Advise, support and inform Senior Learning and Development Advisors of any risks that may affect the deployment of training.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR  

  • Bachelor’s degree in administration or HR; 

  • Between two and three years’ experience in administration, technical support or HR; 

  • Experience of LMS administration (Workday) an asset; 

  • Tech savvy and willing to learn new tools; 

  • Aptitude for problem solving, analysis and critical thinking; 

  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote); 

  • Great attention to detail, meticulous approach; 

  • Ability to organize workload in order to meet strict timelines and manage priorities (multitask); 

  • Self-reliant, problem solver; 

  • Creative, innovative, open-minded; and Customer focused; 

  • Bilingual (English and French).
