Job Description

AECOM Mississauga is hiring a Contractor Administrator – Rail & Transit Mega Projects

Responsibilities:
 

  • Payment Processing: Overseeing the validation and processing of payments to contractors according to contractual milestones and project timelines.
     
    • Develop and implement payment policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce risk.
    • Handle escalated payment issues and resolve them promptly.
    • Prepare and present regular reports on payment operations to senior management.
       
  • Documentation Management: Handling extensive documentation related to payments as well as supporting documentation in an organized manner.
     
  • Coordination with Stakeholders: Working closely with project managers, accounting personnel, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth financial and payment operations.

 

    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
    • Professional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), or payment related certifications are desirable.
    • Minimum of 4 years of experience in payment processing, finance, or a related field.
    • Strong knowledge of payment systems, regulations, and industry best practices.
    • Proficiency in payment processing software and financial analysis tools.
       

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Ideally of 5 years of experience in payment processing, finance, or a related field.
    • Excellent negotiation and networking skills.

     

    Measure of Success

    • Based on the ability for the individual to ensure that monthly payments and reconciliation payments are made on time.
