We are seeking a Continuous Improvement Intern to support our teams in enhancing operational excellence and efficiency. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands on experience in process improvement and project management within logistics and operations.
Responsibilities
· Analyze current operational processes to identify improvement opportunities
· Conduct on-site time studies, measurements, and layout assessments.
· Assist in preparing and facilitating Kaizen events at various stations to gain frontline insights.
· Implement on-site findings to support continuous improvements
· Visit delivery stations and sorting hubs to build team support for key initiatives.
· Contribute to the development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
· The role involves daily (or regular) communication with pan-Canadian stakeholders.
Qualifications
· Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in management, engineering, logistics, or a related field.
· Proficient in Microsoft 365, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
· Strong analytical skills with an eagerness to learn and contribute to process improvements.
· Proactive, detail-oriented and solution-driven mindset.
· Strong collaboration and communication skills.
· Willingness to travel to various locations for project support and site visits, with flexibility to accommodate operational hours, including early mornings or late evenings.
