About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and creative Content Marketing Manager based in Nigeria to join our team at SkillHat. This is a remote role, ideal for someone who thrives on innovation, takes initiative, and is passionate about growing a brand’s online presence from anywhere.
You will be responsible for driving organic lead generation, creating engaging content, and continuously optimizing our strategies based on data and feedback.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Content Strategy: Develop and execute multi-channel content strategies focused on customer acquisition, digital marketing, and offer creation.
- Drive Virality & Engagement: Create content that sparks conversations, encourages shares, and increases reach across platforms through creative storytelling and trend alignment.
- Manage Campaigns End-to-End: Plan, launch, and optimize marketing campaigns that directly impact funnel performance and company revenue.
- AI & Automation Management: Use tools like ManyChat and the company’s CRM to manage dynamic chatbots, automate workflows, and enhance campaign efficiency.
- Funnel Optimization: Analyze lead behavior, identify bottlenecks across organic and paid channels, and implement data-driven solutions to increase conversion rates.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with the CEO, Revenue Operations Manager, and Sales & Marketing teams to align messaging and offers with company goals.
- Performance Tracking: Measure campaign success through key KPIs (leads generated, conversion rates, engagement metrics) and report actionable insights.
- Creative Direction: Oversee brand storytelling, social content creation, and marketing copy that resonates with the target audience.
- Market Research: Stay updated on digital trends, audience behavior, and competitor activities to refine strategies for growth.
- AI-Driven Innovation: Experiment with emerging tools and generative AI systems to improve content quality, targeting precision, and marketing automation.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
- 2+ years of experience in content marketing, digital marketing, or related roles.
- Proven ability to create viral or high-performing content across digital platforms.
- Strong understanding of lead generation, sales funnels, and customer acquisition strategies.
- Proven experience creating and managing digital campaigns that drive measurable results.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, email marketing tools, and automation platforms (e.g., ManyChat, HubSpot, Zoho).
- Basic understanding of AI-driven marketing tools, chatbots, or automation workflows is an asset.
- Excellent storytelling and copywriting skills with an eye for content that converts.
- Data-driven mindset: able to interpret analytics to make strategic decisions.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Self-starter with strong ownership mentality and a passion for growth and innovation.
