The Role

Resource Management

Assigns employees to client engagements by balancing resource utilization, planning targets, skills allocation, actual utilization and staffing levels.  Supports projects by filling positions for all resource channels, serving as a single point of responsibility for the duration of assigned engagements.  Collaborates with other workforce solutions teams and business stakeholders to maintain staffing plans, resource assignments and project on-boarding / off-boarding including management of administrative tasks on each position.

Capacity Planning

Undertakes planning activities to ensure resource targets are met and optimises efficiency and costs.  Develops, manages and maintains headcount dynamics / targets & forecast plans for the supported stakeholder working closely with Finance & COO.  Responsible for demonstrating achievement against targets, actual to date and providing the overall view of headcount dynamics to allow supported stakeholder to manage their affordability. May contribute to strategic planning and large-scale operational deployment.  Coordinates plans for resource redeployment or retraining with human resources, as needed.   Leverages workforce data/insights, converting complex analytics into actionable business intelligence that aids leaders in making data-driven decisions.

Workforce Management

Direct interface into business leaders for strategic planning, collaborating across the business, HR, Finance and others to review existing and future workforce needs and align with business objectives and financial goals.  Analyzes, implements and monitors workforce planning initiatives to optimize and scale the evolving workforce and long-range plans.  Collects, interprets and evaluates workforce metrics to provide data driven insights for internal and external talent pool assessments, headcount reviews, forecasting and business scenario planning; reviews processes and monitors plan effectiveness. 

Responsibilities

  • Work with each Practice Lead and Technical Delivery Lead on their respective hiring strategies to address business goals and commitments

  • Build headcount forecasts and capacity planning models 

  • Build, track and report on talent acquisition

  • Track and report on utilization; recommend and execute required adjustments to meet target(s) by Practice

  • Track and report on KPIs: utilization, labor pyramid, domestic and centre mix, external hiring mix

  • Manage Project Planners and Workday Resource Plans:  unstaffed and past due Consult FTE demand

  • Work with and identify, when required, additional staffing channels: regular employees, subcontractors, vended services, global collaboration centres


Who You Are

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Operations, Delivery management or equivalent

  • At least 8 years of experience in talent / resource acquisition, HR or business operations

  • Strategic advisory skills

  • Strong relationship building skills with Executives, Resource Managers and Global organizations 

  • Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong consulting, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
