En tant que concepteur audio technique, vous serez responsable de l'intégration des effets sonores, de la musique et des dialogues dans nos jeux. Ceci englobe du simple déclenchement d'effets sonores à l'entière conception audio systémique, au moyen de diverses solutions de logiciels intermédiaires. Vous travaillerez sur une technologie audio de pointe, en développant des outils/systèmes audio et en intégrant les sons dans nos jeux pour offrir des expériences passionnantes aux joueurs. Vous ferez partie d'une équipe axée sur la collaboration, où vous aurez la possibilité de contribuer de manière significative.
- Concevoir, intégrer et déboguer des systèmes audio pour le développement de jeux en utilisant divers moteurs et logiciels intermédiaires, comme Unreal, Unity et Wwise
- Combler le fossé entre les concepteurs audio et les programmeurs en agissant à titre d’intermédiaire entre les deux disciplines
- Collaborer avec des concepteurs de jeu et des programmeurs pour développer des outils et systèmes permettant aux concepteurs audio de concrétiser leur vision créative
- Travailler avec l'équipe de développement pour concevoir de manière innovante des outils audio de pointe pour les dialogues, les effets sonores et la musique utilisés dans nos jeux
- Adopter et améliorer le processus de développement audio existant
- Gérer les budgets des données audio, l'organisation des projets Wwise, la structure et le chargement des données audio, et les optimisations audio d'exécution
- Être responsable de la documentation technique et de la formation des créateurs de contenu aux meilleures pratiques en matière de conception audio technique

As a Technical Audio Designer, you will be responsible for the integration of sound effects, music and dialogue in our games. This will include simple sound-effect playback and advanced systemic audio design utilizing various middleware solutions. You will work on cutting-edge audio technology, expanding audio systems and integrating sound into gameplay to deliver exciting gaming experiences. You will be a part of a collaboration-oriented team where you will have the opportunity to contribute in meaningful ways.
- Designing, implementing, and debugging audio systems for game development utilizing various engines and middleware options, such as Unreal, Unity and Wwise
- Bridging the gap between audio designers and programmers acting as the liaison between the two disciplines
- Collaborating with game designers and programmers to develop systems/tools to allow audio designers to realize their creative vision
- Working with the development team to design cutting-edge game-audio tools for voice-overs /SFX/music in innovative ways
- Adopting and improving the existing audio development process
- Managing audio data budgets, Wwise project organization, audio data structure/loading, and run-time audio optimizations
- Taking responsibility for technical audio documentation and educating content creators in audio best
Qualifications
- Au moins 3 ans d'expérience en tant que concepteur audio technique ou concepteur audio dans l'industrie du jeu avec au moins 1 cycle complet de développement de jeu
- Maîtrise des logiciels intermédiaires audio avec une spécialisation dans Wwise
- Bonne expérience en intégration audio dans les moteurs de jeux Unreal et Unity
- Expérience en écriture de scripts pour les moteurs de jeu et logiciels intermédiaires audio (ex. : UE Blueprints, Unity C#, WAAPI, WAQL, Python etc.)
- Maîtrise des processus et outils de versionnement (ex. : Perforce, Git, SVN etc.)
- Excellentes capacités à communiquer et aptitude à gérer plusieurs projets
- Capacité à travailler de manière efficace et autonome avec une grande minutie
- Compréhension de base du DSP et des principes de programmation audio
- Compréhension du processus d'ingénierie du mixage et des normes d’intensité sonore (loudness)
Compétences souhaitées
- Expérience en développement de jeu multiplateformes
- Expérience en conception sonore, production musicale et/ou conception de voix
- Expérience en rédaction de documentation technique, idéalement sous Confluence
- Compréhension des processus et outils de gestion de, idéalement sous Jira
- Aptitudes pédagogiques et de vulgarisation

Required Qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience as a Technical Audio Designer or an Audio Designer within the games industry, with at least 1 complete game development cycle
- Proficiency with audio middleware and a specialization in Wwise
- Good experience with audio integration in game engines, including Unreal and Unity
- Experience in scripting for game engines and audio middleware (e.g. UE Blueprints, Unity C#, WAAPI, WAQL, Python etc.)
- Proficiency with versioning tools and processes (e.g. Perforce, Git, SVN etc.)
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
- Ability to work efficiently and autonomously with great attention to detail
- Basic understanding of DSP and audio programming principles
- Understanding of the mix engineering process and loudness standards within the industry
Desires Qualifications
- Experience in multi-platform game development
- Experience in sound design, music production and/or voice-over design
- Experience writing technical documentation, ideally using Confluence
- Understanding of project management processes and tools, ideally Jira
- Strong teaching and coaching skills
